This is a mile post located opposite the junction of Brockholes Lane, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It features a flat cast iron front with a rounded top. The inscription on the post reads: "NEW MILL DISTRICT ROAD HONLEY HUDDERSFIELD SHEFFIELD 4½ MILES 22 MILES."
