Description
Brockholes Village Hall is a former Church of England School built in 1837. It is constructed from dressed stone with ashlar dressings and features stone slate roofs supported by two tall stone chimney stacks. The building is single storey with corbeled eaves and a chamfered plinth.
An off-centre gable porch is present, featuring a coped gable with kneelers, a single round-headed window with a shoulder glazing bar, and returns that have single plank doors. To the right of the porch, there is a pair of glazing bar windows, while to the left, there are eight pairs of similar windows. The north-west and south-east gable walls each have a pair of round-headed and shouldered glazing bar windows, with the north-west gable also displaying an oval plaque above the windows. The roof is adorned with eight triangular dormers that have finials.
