Description

The bridge over the River Holme at Smithy Place is a single span segmental arched bridge dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed, dressed rubble with dressed voussoirs. There is a string course at the base of the parapet, and the bridge features large rounded copings.
