Description

Priest Holme Bridge, Number 168, is a public road bridge built around 1790, designed by engineer Robert Whitworth. It is constructed from dressed stone and features an elliptical arch supported by rusticated voussoirs. The bridge has a band and a solid parapet, with curved abutments that end in piers. On the south side, the towpath wall curves upwards to carry the towpath over the bridge.
