Description
This is an early to mid-19th century pair of houses located on Pike Law Lane, Scapegoat Hill, Golcar. The houses are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof and coped gables detailed with stone brackets. The south-east elevation features two entrances with stone surrounds, two four-light stone mullioned windows, and two single-light windows on the ground floor. The first floor has two eight-light stone mullioned windows, characterised by a continuous and pronounced sill. The north-west elevation is built into the earth on the ground floor, with two six-light stone mullioned windows above. A single-storey lean-to extension with a stone slate roof is visible on the south-west gable.
