Description

This is a mid-19th century building, originally part of a terrace of three properties. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with rusticated quoins, and has a pitched stone slate roof, partly covered with bitumen. Coped gables are present, along with stone brackets.

The east elevation has a symmetrical three-bay facade. The ground floor features a central doorway with large rusticated quoins and a flat arch with a decorated keystone. It is flanked by two-light stone mullioned windows. The first floor has two two-light stone mullioned windows and a single central light. The west elevation includes a later lean-to extension on the ground floor, with two windows where mullions have been removed. The first floor on the west elevation features a four-light stone mullioned window, with two lights blocked, and a later single light window.

The building was formerly a public house. It is included on the heritage list for its group value.
