Description

New Lane Farmhouse is a 19th-century longhouse type farmhouse, dating from 1830 as indicated by the datestone above the front door. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and a continuous first-floor sill. On the first floor, there is a 10-light stone mullioned window, although four of the lights are blocked. The ground floor has two 3-light stone mullioned windows. There is a barn extension to the south of the farmhouse.
