Description

Nos 1 and 3 Green Edge are a pair of houses built in 1851. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a pitched stone slate roof with coped gable ends. The buildings are two storeys high and have stone brackets supporting the gutter. There is a continuous sill at the first floor level. No 3 has a prominent 9-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, although three of its lights are blocked. The other windows in both houses have lost their mullions. A plaque on the building is inscribed with "W W GREEN EDGE 1851".
