Description
Nos 65 and 67 Southgate are a pair of houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. Each house has a coped gable with kneelers and stands three storeys tall. The ground floor of No. 67 has been altered, now featuring shop windows and a door in the corner. No. 65 has its doorway at the left end. Each house has one window per storey, all with four lights and flat faced mullions. The left-hand side of No. 65 displays quoins, a coped gable with kneelers, and one three-light flat faced mullioned window on each floor. Both houses have chimney stacks at the gables.
