Description
These are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are built of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high. Each has a doorway with monolithic jambs and flat-faced mullioned windows. Number 2 has a four-light window at the front, above which is a three-light window. Number 4 is symmetrical, with a centrally placed doorway leading to a single-storey, gabled porch added in the 20th century. Flanking the porch are four-light windows, again with a matching window above. All windows have overlapping heads and sills. There are three brick stacks on the ridge of the roof.
