Description
Little Learings Farmhouse is a house from the early 18th century, built of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and a three-room front. Each room features double chamfered mullioned windows with five lights, while the first floor has similar windows with a single chamfer. Some windows are missing their mullions. The doorway is located in the third bay. The right-hand return wall has quoins and kneelers but does not have coping. There is a small outshut that has a columbarium, which obscures the original doorway that has a chamfered surround. This doorway leads into a long passage created by a thin wall of ashlar blocks. The house has a gable stack and one additional stack. The first room is used as a garage, but it still has the original stone fireplace with a cavetto moulded shelf. The central room features a fireplace with a cyma moulded shelf.
