Description

This is a 5-bay double-aisled barn dating from the mid-17th century, located to the west of numbers 19 and 20 on Brighouse Towngate in Hipperholme. The barn is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof. It features a square-headed entry at the arcade plate point, with aisles that break forward on either side. Inside, there is a king post roof with curved braces and posts resting on stylobats, showcasing a well-preserved timbered interior.
