Description
The Travellers Public House is a public house built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and is characterized by quoins. The front has four bays. The first bay contains an altered two-light 19th-century mullioned window, with an original three-light flat faced mullioned window above it. The second bay features a single light sash window and a doorway with monolithic jambs. The third and fourth bays both retain original three-light flat faced mullioned windows, which have some overlapping heads and sills on both floors. Additionally, there is a decorative wooden gutter bracket at the eaves and a central stack at the ridge.
