Description

Thornhill House is a late 18th-century house located on the south side of Towngate in Hipperholme, Brighouse. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a slate roof. The house is three storeys high and exhibits a symmetrical facade with raised quoins and bands, topped by a moulded cornice. The front has five bays, each featuring large sash windows with projecting jambs and sills. A gabled porch was added in the late 19th century, centrally placed on the facade. The building has coped gables and stacks.
