Description

South Edge House is a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. Constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof, they present a symmetrical 4-bay front. Each bay features 4-light mullioned windows with flat faces, overlapping heads, and sills to both storeys. The cottages have quoins. Centrally placed doorways are formed with monolithic jambs. The roof is hipped and has two chimney stacks with ashlar slabs.
