Description

Oldstones is a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. The front is made of hammer-dressed stone, while the sides and rear are constructed from random stone, topped with a 20th-century tile roof. Each cottage is one bay wide, double-depth, and has two storeys. They feature a door with a square-cut surround and a three-light flat-faced mullion window on each floor, although the mullions have been removed from the window of No. 221. The cottages have three ridge chimney stacks with oversailing courses and watertabling. They are included for their group value.
