Description

Primrose Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from squared rubble and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a central entrance plan with two bays and two storeys, along with an outshut and a lean-to at the rear left, and a wing at the rear right. The entrance is framed by a chamfered door surround with a shaped lintel, and there is a modern gabled porch. The cottage has stone quoins and brick gable stacks. On each floor, there are two 3-light flat-faced mullion windows, and to the right, there are similar 2 and 3-light windows, although the mullions have been removed from those.
