Description

This is a house located at 225 Longhurst Lane, built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a graduated stone slate roof with brick chimney stacks. The house has two bays, is one room deep, and has two storeys. There is a wing at the rear and a former shippon, which is now used as a garage, to the right of the main structure. The central door is obscured by a 20th-century porch. On each floor, there are three-light flat-faced stone mullion windows with glazing bars on either side. The house has two ridge chimney stacks. A blocked door leads to the former shippon, which now has garage doors at the rear. Additionally, there are two remaining two-light mullion windows at the back, although patio doors have been inserted.
