Description
This is a Primitive Methodist Chapel, dating to 1827. Constructed of watershot stone with a 20th-century tile roof, the building comprises four bays by one bay. Access to an undercroft is provided from the rear. The windows have stone sills and skew lintels, featuring a mix of sash and casement windows. The gable-end entrance door has a square-cut surround, a radial fanlight, impost blocks, and a keystone. Chimney stacks are present on each gable. A stone inscribed above the door confirms the chapel’s origin.
