Description

This barn, located 5 meters to the east of Baitings, is dated 1840 and features the initials "MFB". It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. Both sides of the barn are identical, except the south side has an inscribed stone above the barn arch. The barn has basket-arched entries with a prominent keystone and a segmental arched window above, along with lunettes on either side. There are mistal doorways with monolithic jambs at each end, gutter brackets, and the gables are coped with a rectangular ventilator and a circular owl-hole at the apex. The barn is listed for its group value.
