Description

This barn, located 10 meters south of Bents Knoll, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The front has a basket-arched cart entry with an expressed keystone, above which is a simple Venetian window with an impost and a false keystone. There are mistal doorways on either side of the cart entry. The rear of the barn has a similar arrangement, with a rectangular window positioned above the cart entry. The gables exhibit watershot masonry, rectangular ventilators, and a circular owl hole at the apex.
