Description
This is a former barn, dating to the early 19th century. It is located in Hebden Royd, near Mytholmroyd. Constructed of dressed stone with a stone slate roof, the barn’s front elevation features a blocked basket-arched cart entry. This entry has tie-stone jambs and a keystone, with a simple Venetian window above, featuring a false keystone. Two mistal doorways, also blocked and with tie-stones, flank the cart entry. Coped gables with kneelers are present. The left-hand return wall has a corner chimney stack rising from the kneelers, and three windows with plain stone surrounds. Similar fenestration is found on the rear elevation. The building is listed for group value only.
