Description
Nos 4 and 6 Church Street are four combined houses with a single work room above, built around 1800. They are constructed of dressed stone with ashlar dressings and feature a slate roof with ashlar coped gables, a ridge, and a gable stack. The north front has a doorway on the right with a large rusticated surround and an eight-panel door with a narrow overlight. To the left, there is a pair of 20th-century casement windows, followed by a pair of doors with plain ashlar surrounds and six-panel doors, and another pair of 20th-century casements. Above, there is a single 20th-century casement to the right and two pairs of casements to the left. Further up, there are three single taller casements, all with plain stone surrounds. The rear front features two central doors in plain stone surrounds, each with a six-panel door, a casement to the left, and a 20th-century window to the right. Above, there are two casements, and above again, three further casements.
