Description

This is a row of four late 18th century cottages that are attached to an early 20th century building, which is of no interest and is excluded from this listing. The cottages are constructed from hammer dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. They have quoins and are two storeys high. The front has four bays of thin flat faced mullioned windows, with overlapping lintels and sills; the ground floor has four-light windows, while the first floor has two and three-light windows, some of which are blocked. There are four doorways with monolithic jambs and overlapping lintels. The cottages also have three well dressed stacks along the ridge.
