Description
This is a barn located 5 meters to the northeast of Great Greave, dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The barn has one and a half aisles and is L-shaped. The west front includes a wide cart entry set within a portal of the aisle, featuring a wooden lintel that supports the roof and forms a porch. There is a mistal doorway with tie-stone jambs positioned in the left-hand re-entrant angle, and another mistal door with monolithic jambs to the right of the cart entry. The right-hand return wall has a wide gable with rectangular ventilators. At the rear, there is a mistal doorway with tie-stone jambs in the half aisle, and a cart entry set back with a wooden lintel.
