Description

This stone water trough, likely from the 18th century, is located at the front entrance to Mooredge, near the junction with London Road. It consists of four linked rectangular troughs, with square stones at either end that feature circular basins for water drainage. The trough is supplied by a stone channelled gutter at the center and is situated along a former packhorse way through the village.
