Description

The water trough located north-west of Bridge House is a mid-19th century structure made of coursed squared sandstone and ashlar. It features a long, low retaining wall with rounded copings that ramps up to the center, where it turns inward to create a recess. The trough itself is canted and includes roll moulding and a spout for a fountain above. This structure is included in the listing for its group value only.
