Description
Calton Lees Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with ashlar ridge and gable stacks. The building has two storeys and an east elevation that consists of two plus one bays. The two-bay section is double fronted and is defined by quoins.
The doorway has a bead-moulded ashlar surround and a half-glazed door. To the left of the doorway is a glazing bar sash window set in a plain ashlar surround. To the right, there is a 2-light square section flush mullion window with a stepped and bead-moulded surround. Above this, there are two similar windows. The additional bay to the left features a glazing bar sash window at half height, also in a plain ashlar surround.
