Description

The structure consists of a wall and water troughs located to the southeast of Edge Moor, dating from the 17th century and restored in the 20th century. It is constructed from gritstone and gritstone rubble. The high rubble retaining wall features three large stone troughs on the eastern side. This installation is part of an early public drinking water supply.
