Description
Nos. 7 and 9 Lumbutts Road are a pair of cottages from the early 19th century, built in watershot masonry with dressed quoins and a stone slate roof. The cottages rise to three storeys. On the ground floor, there are six doorways that have been altered to feature two-light windows, although the third doorway remains intact and includes large tie-stones. The first and second floors each have three bays of five-light flat faced mullioned stepped windows. The return walls have doorways at the first floor level, which are accessed by a flight of stone steps. The cottages also feature two well-dressed gable stacks.
