Description

Nos. 532 and 534 on Edenfield Road are two cottages built around 1800. They are constructed from watershot stone and topped with a stone slate roof. The cottages are three storeys high, with a double-depth layout and one bay wide. Each cottage features a door on the right side, framed by square-cut surrounds. The ground floor has three-light flat-faced mullioned windows, while the first and second floors have five and seven-light windows, respectively. Notably, No. 532 has had four mullions removed. A brick ridge stack is located between the two cottages. The rear of the cottages has similar windows and retains all but five of the original mullions.
