Description

Moorview Sandymoor is an early 19th-century cottage, now divided into two separate dwellings. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with a stone slate roof and a coped gable on one end. The cottage has a two-story main section and a single-story outshut at the rear. Later porches have been added to both sides of the front. All windows retain flat-faced mullions; the ground floor has two four-light windows, with a window replacing the original doorway. Above are four two-light windows. Two stacks are visible along the ridge.
