House, last quarter C17. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. T-plan, 2-room front with rear kitchen wing with kneelers, of 2 storeys. Single storey barn (attached) converted to living room. Ground floor front has chamfered mullioned windows of 2 lights and 6 lights separated by single storey gabled porch with original 6-panelled door to house. Projecting slate string-course rises over porch indicating a steeper pitch than at present and continues over windows, Over are chamfered mullioned windows of 4 lights and 6 lights. Internal stacks to end walls. Rear wing of coursed rubble with chamfered mullioned window of 4 lights (2 mullions removed) with 3-light window over. Right hand return wall has C18 mullioned window of 4 lights to first floor. There is a chimney stack placed on the ridge at the meeting point of the two ranges. Interior has depressed Tudor arch-headed fireplace with chamfered surround. Adjoining barn is rendered with revealed quoins. Early C19. It has a king strut roof.
