Description
Heath Hall Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the mid-17th century. It is built of painted stone and has a stone slate roof, featuring an L-shaped plan. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a wing extending to the rear left.
The east front has a barn that projects from and obscures the left bay, along with a lean-to that has a doorway on the right, which is not of special interest. The right bay features a five-light double-chamfered mullion window with a decorative-stopped hoodmould, and above it is a four-light single-chamfered mullion window. The right gable has a shaped kneeler, coping, and a stack.
On the left return, the ground-floor openings are from the 19th and 20th centuries, while the first floor retains remnants of two three-light and one two-light chamfered mullion windows.
Inside, the right room has a small basket-arched fireplace surround and stop-chamfered spine beams and joists, while the left room contains a larger fireplace.
