Description
Holly Tree Farmhouse and the attached barn are a late 18th-century laithe house located on Jagger Green Lane in Elland. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. Originally, it was a pair of two-storey cottages, but the right-hand door has been converted into a window. On the ground floor, there is a three-light and a two-light mullioned window, although both have had their mullions removed. The first floor has a projecting sill band with windows of three, two, and four lights, with some mullions also removed. Stone-gutter brackets are present in the palm. The house has gable stacks, while the barn to the right features a three-centred arched-headed window with a two-light mullion above it. The barn's roof rises to a higher point and is gabled with copings.
