Description

Small Banks Farm Cottage is an 18th-century cottage with an early 19th-century addition. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three first-floor windows. To the left of the doorway, there is a three-light flat-faced mullioned window with slightly recessed mullions and a chamfered surround. The first floor has two two-light windows. The early 19th-century addition on the right includes a window with a plain stone surround on each floor. The cottage has a coped gable and an end stack on the right, with another stack on the ridge to the left.
