Description
This milestone, dating from the early to mid 19th century, is attached to the north wall of Callis Mill. It is a monolith featuring two deeply chamfered faces. The left face is inscribed with "TODMORDEN," while the right face reads "HALIFAX 3 MILES" and "8 MILES."
