Description

This milestone, located 50 meters north of Duke Street, dates from the mid-19th century. It is a single upright stone featuring two chamfered faces. On the left side, it reads "HALIFAX 9¾ MILES," and on the right side, it reads "TODMORDEN 2 MILES."
