Description

Stoodley Bridge is an early 19th-century road bridge that spans the canal. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a single span with a horse-shoe elliptical arch. The bridge has rusticated voussoirs and a band, along with a parapet topped with thin flag cappings. The piers on either side of the bridge project slightly forward.
