Description

This is an 18th-century barn located northwest of Middle Stoodley House. It is a long barn, originally consisting of four bays. The barn is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. A semi-circular arched cart entry is centrally positioned. To its right is a mistal doorway featuring a tie-stone, and to the left are two further doorways. The gables are coped with kneelers. Portal walls to the cart entry continue to form pointed stone arches, with a single additional similar arch present, both constructed of finely dressed voussoirs.
