Description

An early 19th-century barn is located on the west side of Steetley Lane in the parish of Whitwell Steetley. The barn is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with a pantile roof. The east elevation features a central cart entrance, supported by a timber lintel. To the right of the cart entrance is a doorway with stable-type doors. Above the doorway are two square shuttered openings, and two tiers of slit breathers are present.
