Description
Ratcliffe Grange Farmhouse and the adjoining farm buildings date from the mid 18th century and are constructed from coursed squared rubble with a steeply pitched plain tile roof. The buildings feature ashlar dressings, coped gables with kneelers, and have two gable stacks and two ridge stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays in an L-plan layout. The main east front features a central half-glazed door with a gabled timber porch, flanked by two 19th-century glazing bar casements. Above this door, there are three smaller casements. The rear wing includes a door and four casements, all with segmental heads. The attached farm building is also two storeys and has three bays, displaying an irregular facade. To the left, there is a pair of barn doors, and to the right, a door flanked by single casements, all featuring segmental heads. Above this, there is a single casement and various breathers. The building has a principal rafter roof.
