Description

The forecourt wall, piers, and gates to Hope Baptist Church were built in 1857 and are contemporary with the church itself. The structure features dwarf walls, although the railings have been removed. It includes panelled ashlar gate piers topped with heavy, up-swept cast iron gates. The design incorporates spear head rails and dog rails, along with rusticated terminal piers.
