Description

The forecourt walls, piers, and railings to the former Baptist chapel date from the mid to late 19th century. They feature dwarf rusticated ashlar walls with coping that step up the hill slope, supporting cast iron railings adorned with ornamental finials. There are three pairs of square stone piers and one single pier, with the piers at the main entrances supporting cast-iron lamp standards that have twist columns.
