SUMMARY OF IMPORTANCE This war memorial, commemorating the fallen of two World Wars, takes the form of a slender column standing on a plinth and hexagonal base, with an inscription and list of names. War memorials always warrant serious consideration for designation, and this well-executed and well-proportioned example clearly meets the criteria.
