Description

Junction House is a house that was originally built as a signalman's house. It is constructed from rough dressed stone and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and an L-shaped plan, featuring steep gables with copings. There are hoodmoulds over the windows and an arrow slit under the apex of the gables. A tall stack with ashlar quoins is also present. Junction House was built on the Leeds/Bradford and Halifax Junction of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway and may have been part of Pickle Bridge Station.
