Description

This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located on the west corner of the junction with Hill House Edge Lane. It is made of stone and stands approximately 1 metre high and ½ metre wide. One face of the milestone is inscribed with 'Hebden Bridge' and 'To Keighley', accompanied by hands pointing in those directions. The opposite face features the inscription 'To Halifax' along with a pointing hand.
