II

C17 farmhouse altered early C19 when it was used as a school for a while. Two-storeys, coursed gritstone, refaced early C19 and extended with small cottage at same time, in sandstone "brick". Stone slate roof. Corniced chimneys. Two and 3 light early C19 square mullion windows in squared surrounds. Main doorway with squared jambs and cornice-hood. Plain, early to mid C19 sandstone "brick" barn with stone slate roof built on to No 45.
