Description

Spring Head House and Spring Head Cottage is a building that has been converted into two dwellings, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays with rusticated quoins.

The central doorway, which includes a fanlight, is flanked by engaged Tuscan columns and topped with an open pediment. To the left of this doorway, there is an inserted doorway leading to the cottage. The house has one single sash window and one blocked window on each floor, along with a Venetian window above the doorway. The cottage features one Venetian window on each floor, and all Venetian windows have flat heads. Moulded strings run along the ground and first floors from the window cills, and the building is capped with a hipped roof.
