Description
The Kings Arms Public House is a public house built in the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed, dressed millstone grit and features a stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and two bays, with projecting quoins. The windows are flat-faced mullions set in projecting stone surrounds, with two 2-light windows on each floor. The central entrance consists of a board door beneath an oblong fanlight with glazing bars, all within a flush stone surround. Additional architectural details include shaped gutter brackets, shaped kneelers, and ashlar coping. The building has corniced end stacks, and the right return features two occuli on the second floor.
